Assembly in the lower parking area.  

Entrance is off Colonel Ledyard Highway. (East of Library entrance)

 Please respect our businesses - Do not enter off Route 117 into shops entrance.

 The parade will form up in the lower area below the Food Pantry any time after noon.  When started, it will proceed up the driveway, turn left onto Route 117, and proceed past the Reviewing Stand and The Memorial Gardens, turning left onto Colonel Ledyard Highway.  The Parade will then proceed to and turn left onto Gallup Hill Road, ending in the High School Parking lot.  The Parade route is an easy mile with a little uphill, otherwise flat.  We will serve food and drinks at the High School to all parade participants.

Busses to take marchers from the High School to the formation area and will be available to return parade marchers to the Fair Grounds.

1.    The parade will take place   RAIN OR SHINE.

2.    The Reviewing Stand and Memorial Gardens are on your left as you leave the Town Green.

3.  In case of fire, or other emergencies, all units will go to the right hand curb and HALT, so Emergency Vehicles can proceed as necessary.  The Grand Marshall, as directed by the Police, will restart the parade.

4.    Please allow 25 paces between units.

5.    The parade route is about a mile.  Marchers should anticipate marching time of about one hour.

Refreshments will be served at the High School following the parade to participants until we run out!
