2025 LEDYARD LIONS SCHOLARSHIPS

ANNOUNCEMENT AND APPLICATION

ATTENTION GRADUATING SENIORS

All funds raised by the many activities of the Ledyard Lions Club are used for community, state, national and international causes. In addition to scholarships and assisting local residents in overcoming hardships, the Lion’s original cause was assistance of the blind and sight impaired. It has expanded to:

Childhood Cancer

Diabetes

Disaster Relief

Environment

Humanitarian

Hunger

Vision

Youth

We are proud of our motto “WE SERVE”. The Ledyard Lions Club encourages seniors to apply for these scholarships (applicants will be considered for all of the below scholarships).

Peter Olsen Scholarship $2,500

Ernie Plantz Scholarship $1,500

Scholarship $1,000

Criteria

Must be a resident of Ledyard.

Demonstrated Community Service.

Academics Performance.

Extra-Curricular Activities in school and community.

Need

To participate, students must fill out the application form below.
No applications will be accepted after April 30, 2025.

Ledyard Lions Scholarship Application 2025Below is the application for scholarships to be awarded to High School Seniors residing in Ledyard for the year 2025. There are four scholarships available and your application will be considered for any of the four below: Peter Olsen Scholarship $2,500 Ernie Plantz Scholarship $1,500 General Scholarship $1,000 General Scholarship $1,000 Our main emphasis on consideration is academics, community service, extra curricular activities, and need. No applications will be accepted after April 30, 2025
